Retailers don't need another sterile studio shot; they need proof of life. For Mountain Warehouse, I took the production out of the showroom and into the rugged terrain of the Peak District. This project wasn't about "simulating" adventure—it was about capturing the authentic intersection of gear and geography. By blending drone cinematography with real-world testing, we created a visual system that doesn't just show the kit; it proves it works when the weather turns.

Beyond the Backfrop
We don’t simulate conditions; we track them. To ensure total authenticity, I integrated real-world telemetry—tracking UV intensity, wind velocity, and temperature on-site. This data-led approach ensures that every frame of cinematic motion is backed by environmental truth. For outdoor brands, products need to feel tested, trusted, and lived-in. This is how we move away from "nice visuals" and into genuine product proof.
Technical Environmental Tracking: To ensure total authenticity for Mountain Warehouse, our outdoor retail video production process includes on-site environmental data capture. The following interactive modules display dynamic telemetry recorded during the Peak District shoot, including real-time UV index intensity, ambient temperature in degrees Celsius, wind velocity in miles per hour, and precipitation levels. This data-led approach reinforces the "tested in the elements" narrative for technical apparel and equipment.
Great outdoor retail video production isn’t found in a studio—it’s found on the trail. Before the crew arrived, I scouted a 6.6km circular route from Edale to Mam Tor to map the visual rhythm of the landscape and ensure every frame felt earned. This "location intelligence" allowed us to build a scalable content system—reusable assets that work across social, web, and ads without losing their authentic integrity.

Authentic Advocacy
Working with Rhiane Fatinikun MBE was about more than just a "face" for the brand. We created a series of short-form social videos designed to actually help people—from safety tips to essential hiking gear. By keeping the delivery honest and the production grit-filled, we built a narrative that hikers actually trust. This is the difference between an advert and an advocate.

Everything I do comes from one place: getting my boots dirty and putting the work in. Whether it’s scouting a 6km route in the rain or filming in the rugged peaks of Saddleworth, I don't do "strategy decks" or empty agency promises. If you want a filmmaker who understands the elements and knows how to make your gear look the business, let's get cracking.
