who value craft & clarity

For years, I've been collaborating with brands and agencies that know that if a film doesn't move people, it doesn't work. My goal is to align my technical motion design and editing skills with your commercial objectives—delivering content that not only looks good but also delivers the goods.

MUVE® — My Unheard Voice Emerges

If you’re the type who values the impact of a film over the static nature of a page, we’re on the same frequency. ‘An Origin in Motion’ is my upcoming short film exploring a lifelong pull towards movement—shaped in the hills and refined in the studio through the discipline of the frame. Be the first to experience it below.

Principles & Philosophy

Crafted through experience
— Defined by instinct

Decades in the studio have shaped how I think about movement — not just how it looks, but how it feels, flows, and lands with an audience. I’ve spent years refining that instinct through real work — pushing pixels, solving problems, meeting deadlines, and crafting films that need to communicate clearly, quickly and effectively.

The outdoors plays a different role. It’s where I reset, observe, and reconnect with the bigger picture — but the work itself is built through focus, discipline and time spent at the desk. That balance is what keeps the work sharp.

Movement is the language

Motion isn’t an add-on; it’s the core language of everything I create. It guides attention, shapes rhythm, and determines how a story is ultimately felt. Decades in the studio have shaped how I think about movement—not just how it looks, but how it flows. For me, the frame is a canvas where timing and transition are the primary tools.

Cinematography as a vessel

My exploration of cinematography began as a way to source real-world movement for my motion design. Capturing light and atmosphere outdoors became a way to study organic pace and flow. I bring that "found" perspective back to the studio, ensuring my animations and digital sequences feel grounded in the physics and beauty of the real world.

Three decades at the desk

My work is grounded in over thirty years of technical discipline at the workstation. I’ve spent thousands of hours refining pixels and mastering the complexities of animation software. I value the focused endurance required to solve technical problems and meet deadlines, ensuring that every project is delivered with the precision and reliability of a veteran specialist.

The end result must matter

I believe motion should do more than just occupy space—it should spark action. I don’t just deliver “animation”; I craft visual systems with weight. Whether I’m building a 3D product sequence or a brand film, I focus on creating visuals that resonate, bringing clarity and purpose to the untold visions of the brands I partner with.

Design before spectacle

Visual polish means nothing without purpose. In motion design, clarity and direction come first—even when the visuals are bold and kinetic. I strip away the noise to find a concept that hits hard and holds attention. I ensure the "why" always leads the "how," using animation to translate complex ideas into something visceral and easily understood.

Staying open to the craft

Curiosity keeps my work alive. I’m always tinkering with new tools, exploring unfamiliar briefs, and pushing the limits of what’s possible in motion. I don’t chase fleeting digital trends; curiosity leads my process, while technology and software only follow when they help us tell a clearer story. Every project is a new chance to learn and evolve.

Learning in front of the lens

Growth requires stepping outside the comfortable glow of the monitor. I make a point of getting in front of the camera for my personal films to experience the same vulnerability I ask of my subjects. Overcoming that hesitation sharpens my empathy as a director and animator, ensuring I handle every story with the same courage I demand of myself.

The outdoor reset

While the work is built at the desk, the clarity is found outdoors. The hills of Saddleworth are where I go to decompress and reconnect with the bigger picture. This time away from the screen is a strategic investment; it allows me to return to the studio with a recharged creative battery and a fresh perspective on digital movement.

Shared ambition, no egos

The best motion projects are built on partnership. I bring a collaborative mindset to every project, whether I’m working one-on-one with a founder or as part of a larger creative agency team. I value open communication and the kind of back-and-forth that makes the work stronger. No friction, no egos—just a shared goal to move the needle.

Always evolving through curiosity

While there’s a time to be serious in both work and life, we all need to play. My most innovative motion solutions often come from moments of experimentation and lighthearted trial. I take the responsibility of your business seriously, but I wholeheartedly believe that having fun during the process leads to exceptional results. MUVE® isn’t a fixed body of work; it’s a continual process of play, learning, and refinement.

Navigating the complex

I believe that helping others overcome obstacles makes us better at what we do. If you need creative guidance to navigate a complex brief or technical challenge, I’m here to provide it. By working in your best interest, I get to do what I love every day. Think of me as a specialist guide in the world of motion.

Independent by design

Working as a specialist solo studio keeps the animation process focused. Being independent means there are fewer layers between the idea and the final render. This allows for clearer decisions and work that stays true to its original intent. You get high-end studio craft with the direct, personal agility of a dedicated motion partner.

Helping brands move forward

For me, growth is a constant, and it is always shared. As I refine my motion design craft and master new techniques, I want my clients to grow alongside me. Whether that means sharper brand messaging or more confidence in your visual content, I am committed to a process where every frame leaves your brand stronger and more kinetic.

While my commercial work lives in the studio, the MUVE® philosophy extends far beyond the workstation. Whether you’re looking for a technical deep-dive into my process or you want to see how these stories unfold in real-time, there’s always more to explore.
