Between 2008 and 2015, this work focused on artist-led content: music videos, performance visuals and stylised edits — combining filming, motion graphics and early visual effects to explore how sound could be translated into movement.
This era shaped the visual language that defines MUVE® today.

A look back from 2008 to 2026
This music video production archive traces the early stages of my career — where graphic design began to evolve into motion.
It started with a single music video. What began as a university project quickly grew into something more — shaping a direction that would go on to span two decades of work across the music industry. The turning point came during my BA (Hons) Interactive Motion Design degree.
Working with Oldham-based rapper D-Tox on his album ‘Rehab‘, the ‘Make You Cry‘ music video combined green-screen filming with layered motion graphics and evolving visual styles. It became a space to explore — pushing into After Effects, testing ideas, and discovering how design could move, react and carry energy.
The project gained attention beyond the university — including coverage from the Manchester Evening News — and opened the door into the music industry.
From that point on, the work shifted fully into motion.

The Shift
From Graphic Designer
to Motion Designer
Design was no longer static — it became something that could flow, react and carry energy. Music videos became the natural space to explore that shift, where timing, rhythm and visual storytelling all came together.
From that point on, the work moved fully into motion — combining filming, editing, animation and graphic design into a single process.
This period marked the beginning of a growing body of work that now forms this music video production archive — documenting the transition from graphic design into motion, and the development of a visual style shaped through music.
Each project contributed to a deeper understanding of pacing, composition and how sound could be translated into movement — laying the groundwork for everything that followed.

Projects ranged from performance-led visuals to more stylised, motion-driven pieces — each one building on the last. The process remained consistent: film, edit, experiment with motion, and refine how visuals and sound work together.
